Phew, didn't know that blogging can be this addictive! I mean, one post consequently after the first one yesterday, man I should get a life! Haha, pessimists would come out with that, but little did they know, we can achieve great things through blogging! As a teacher, I would suggest my students to write a blog, as in keeping a daily journal of yourself. Researches and my personal experiences suggest blogging improves your writing skills, as well as your communication skills. Psychologist also would recommend blogging as a way of dealing with your stress at the workplace or school. So, start blogging! You won't be arrested, neither it's a sin to be a blog addict, hehe.
Talking about addiction, there's been a myth spreading around about the negative effects that the innocent coffee beans can affect our body. People have been saying that drinking coffee is unhealthy and addictive, which then compared to the drug addiction. As a coffee lover, I've been drinking coffee long time ago and if I were to be in the state of coffee addiction, then I would not be here living my life to the fullest healthily.
For me, we have to be moderate in many aspects, be it in eating, playing, working and studying. Oh, let me make myself clear before we go any further; as a Muslim, you can't be a moderate, simple and mediocre Muslim if you want to stand out among others and surely you would understand our final goal is the eternal life in Jannah. One of the 40 Hadith compiled by Imam Nawawi, from Ibnu Umar r.a, Rasulullah PBUH once said:
“Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a wayfarer.”
And Ibn Umar (ra) used to say, “In the evening do not expect [to live until] the morning, and in the morning do not expect [to live until] the evening. Take [advantage of] your health before times of sickness, and [take advantage of] your life before your death.”
I love coffee so much and I don't mind if I have to spend my money on something that I love. I have traveled to many places. I have tried many types of coffees and I'm glad to be here in Kluang, which is famous for its Kluang Railway coffee. Recently, a good friend of mine, Farouk Harun, introduced to me this special coffee. The smell of the robusta coffee wakes me up every morning and after drinking it every morning before I'm off to work, every morning is not the same morning I used to have before. Normally, I would have to crawl out of the blanket and take 5-10 minutes for loading and buffering time. Then, after 2 straight classes, teachers and students who bumped into me always asked "Why do you look so tired? Why do you look so sad?", which in fact is untrue because I thought I was okay and geared up for the whole day.
Then I realised that when I went back home after school, it would be so easy for doze off just after few seconds I lay down and put my head on the couch. Then I would doze off until after Asar and then I missed my basketball routine. So I think I need to change the way I live my life, then Farouk suggested this coffee to me. After 2 weeks of daily intake every morning, thanks to Allah for His wonderful creation, this coffee has helped me to stay freshen up and I don't have to take my afternoon nap anymore and I've never missed my basketball routine every evening!
One cup a day, keeps the pillow away! Hehe
