I Know What You Did Last Weekend

Assalamualaikum and greetings!

While writing this post, I was still lying with the Green Lantern t-shirt I wore last night, under the soft and comfy duvet with the smooth chilling air flowing from the 2-horsepower air conditioner. This is my last day here in Danga Bay, Johor Bahru and I guess I love my weekend here :) I was here to attend the 5th JELTA Conference which was held in M-Suites Hotel, but as the room rates per night are not for me, I had to bunk in at a budget hotel somewhere nearby Danga Bay's Tune Hotel. The hotel's name was Zoom In Boutique Hotel, do check it out!

Our journey comprised of me, Redzman and Aizaac; they are some sort of my bodyguards...ehh, companions while I am here, as I don't want to spend my weekend at the conference alone. So, the journey started after the Friday prayer, then we stopped by at Redzman's crib to get some of his stuffs and we also had our lunch there. His mom cooked a heavenly delicious asam pedas. Mom, I miss you and your asam pedas! Then, we stopped by at Aizaac's to grab his phone and bags, then we were off to JB!

We went straight ahead to JB since I've promised with the hotel manager to arrive there before 5. Upon our arrival, the manager greeted us with a smile and showed us to our room. Much to our surprise, the room was not that bad! Along the way, we talked about how small the small could be like what I've seen in the photos uploaded in the hotel's website. But, this is beyond expectations! The sure must-have things you would expect when you check in at a hotel are there; working air-conditioner, flat-screen TV, hot shower, comfy mattresses and pillows and most importantly, free Wi-Fi! The interior designs totally did not stymied us at all; the colour combination, with the crooked mirror on the wall which I found quite interesting and in every room they have in this hotel, guests will be surprised with the writings on the wall as in to bring in the feeling of uniqueness to the guests. I would love to do the tour around the hotel and see what other rooms got to offer to us!

So, the first morning began on Saturday, and after a cup of fresh Mineral Coffee, I drove to M Suites Hotel for the first morning session. Unlucky for me, the flu struck me as sitting in the conference room was like a few seconds taking your shirt off at the summit of Mount Everest! It was so cold that I forgot to bring my blazer. So, I had to take off early, but I had the opportunity to listen to the talk given by Mr Kalki, who strongly asked not to put his pictures on the Internet because he was already renowned before I even came there.

Ahh, too many words to say, just let the pictures say the thousand words for you readers!
